Besides the blogs that we have been posting to Independent Seminar, The Girl Narrative recently launched our own blog page that includes written articles/blogs, our podcast titles UnCut: The Girl Narrative Podcast, and videos! All of these blogs will be posted on Sundays and we will be posting the first episode of UnCut this Sunday 4/28/2019! Today, I will be looking at the Who, What, When, Where, and Why of our media/blog pages!
Who
The blog will be written either by myself or from another guest blogger or person in our team doing Gues Blogging. For those of you that do not know, Guest Blogging is “a method used by the owners of blogs to increase traffic to their sites” (Lifewire). If it is me blogging or podcasting, I will be talking about being a CEO, if is someone on our team, it will probably be about teenage girlhood and the work they have done, and if it is a guest blogger, it will be about what that guest specializes.
What
As I said before, I will likely be blogging from the point of view as The Girl Narrative’s CEO. Guest bloggers will be blogging about the topic of their choice and the members of our team who blog will be talking, once again, of the topic of their choice. These blogs will either be in article form, podcast form, or video form. The pictures included in this blog are two of the blogs that we have posted so far!
When
We will be posting a blog or podcast every night at 10:00 PM EST!
Where
We will be posting our blog, either an article, podcast, or video form to our site under the Media page!
Why
I have been reading a bunch of blogs and blogs about blogs and one called What Business Leaders Can Learn From 9 Successful CEO Bloggers from Pagely mentions that blogging as a CEO (THAT’S ME!) can begin to build brand loyalty, get a public face of your brand, get more traffic, and begin to control the media that is portrayed of your brand. We are looking to expand our audience and grow our platform besides our main pages, and blogging has looked like the best option to communicate with and incorporate our audience into our brand!
